The founder of The Conscious Co-Parenting Institute Dorcey Pruter is the shining example of turning lemons into lemon aid. After being alienated from her father as a child she recovered that relationship and when she was being alienated as a parent prevent it from happening. Now she provides innovative strategies and solutions for parents and children to stay connected during, and after, a high-conflict divorce or separation.
As stated on her website "Our goal is to end the emotional cutoffs and empower every member of the family to reach their potential by taking an inward approach. We focus on showing parents how to communicate with the child and the other parent to prevent alienation and provide them with the tools they need to move forward and create a lasting positive change - no matter where they are in the process.
DR. CRAIG CHILDRESS
Dr. Childress is a leader in advocating for parents and children and the proper evaluation of children who are rejecting a parent in conjunction with a divorce. I am reluctant to characterize his work because there is little I could say to add to his work but a likelihood I could detract from it. Know it or not generations will benefit from his scholarship.
